A payment link is the quickest way to take money: a deposit, a gift card, a product, a workshop seat. Make the link once, then send it to one person or a hundred. Anyone who opens it can pay by card.
Make the link
- Select Payments in the left menu, then Payment Links at the top.
- Select Create New Payment Link.
- Select the product or service from your list, or add a new one with its price.
- Set the quantity and choose any options you want on the checkout page: ask for a phone number, collect an address, allow coupon codes, let the customer change the quantity.
- Give the link a title at the top, such as Deposit or Gift card $50.
- Select Save. The preview on the right shows what the customer sees.
The button can say Pay, Book or Donate: Under advanced options, change the wording on the checkout button to suit what the link is for.
Send it
Once the link is saved you can:
- Copy it and paste it into a text, an email, a social post or your website.
- Send to contacts: pick one or more people and Kanamé texts or emails them the link.
- Make a personal link for one contact. Only they can open it, and the payment is matched to their record automatically.
See who paid
Select Payments, then Transactions, to see every payment, who made it and when. Payments through a link also show on the person’s contact page.
