Some posts are worth repeating: your hours, a weekly tip, the monthly special, a reminder before every market day. A recurring post goes out on a schedule you set, and you can change it any time.

Create the recurring post

  1. Select Marketing in the left menu to open the Social Planner.
  2. Select New Post, then Create New Post.
  3. Pick your accounts and write the post as normal.
  4. Select the arrow next to Post and choose Schedule Recurring Posts.
  5. Under Repeat Every, enter a number and choose Day, Week, Month or Year. For weekly, tick the days under Select Days.
  6. Set the Post Time and the Date Range. A line under the dates shows when the first one goes out.
  7. Select Schedule Post. The series appears under the Recurring Posts tab in the planner. The individual dates show as normal scheduled posts.

Change or stop it

  • To change the wording for every future post, edit the parent under Recurring Posts.
  • To change just one date, edit that post under scheduled posts. The parent stays the same.
  • To stop the series, delete the parent. Posts already published stay up.

Vary it now and then: Some networks, X in particular, can flag the exact same post going out again and again. A small change to the wording every few weeks keeps it fresh for your followers too.
