A weekly lesson, a monthly check-in, a standing Tuesday slot. A recurring appointment books the whole series at once, and each date gets its own reminder.
Check the calendar allows repeats
Recurring bookings are switched on per calendar, in that calendar’s settings. If you don’t see a repeat option when you book, that calendar doesn’t have it switched on. A calendar can repeat bookings for one team member at a time.
Book the series
- Select Calendars in the left menu, then New.
- Choose the calendar, the team member, the first date and the slot, the same as a single booking.
- Choose Recurring booking, next to One slot booking. How often and how many times come from the calendar’s own repeat setting, and the line under the slot shows it. Select View all events to check every date before you book.
- Select the contact and select Book appointment. Every date in the series appears on your calendar with a small repeat icon, and on your connected Google or Outlook calendar as separate events.
If a date in the series is already taken: When one of the repeat dates clashes with something already booked, the calendar follows the rule in its settings: skip that date, book the next free slot, or book it anyway.
Change one date, or the whole series
- To move or cancel a single date, select that appointment on the calendar and edit it as you would any other. The rest of the series stays as it was.
- To end the series, cancel the remaining dates one by one. There isn’t a single cancel-all button yet.
Good to know
- Recurring bookings use your standard slots. A custom one-off time can’t repeat.
- Payment at booking isn’t available on a repeating series. Send an invoice instead.
- Video links (Google Meet or Zoom) are created fresh for each date.
Where to go next
- Book, move or cancel an appointment: the single-booking version of these steps.
- Send an invoice: bill for the series.
- Connect your Google or Outlook calendar: see every date on your own calendar.
