You can update the words and pictures on your own website whenever you like. This covers finding the page, making the change, checking it on a phone, and putting it live.
Open the page you want to change
- In the left menu, select Sites.
- Select the Websites tab at the top, then select your website.
- On the Pages tab, find the page and select Edit. Edit in a New Tab does the same and keeps your list of pages open.
Change the words or a picture
- Click the text you want to change and type over it.
- To swap a picture, click it, then use the panel on the right to pick a new image from your media library or upload one.
- If you change something by mistake, use the undo arrow near the top right.
A section won’t let you click into it?: Some sections are custom-built for your site and can’t be edited this way.
Check it on a phone
Most people will see your site on a phone, so look at it there before it goes live.
- In the toolbar at the top, select the phone icon to see the page at phone size.
- Select the eye icon at the top right to preview the page the way visitors will see it.
Save and publish

- Select the save icon at the top right to keep your changes without putting them live yet.
- When you’re happy with it, select Publish. Your update is now live on your website.
- Select Back to leave the editor.
Where to go next
- Dashboards overview: find your way around the rest of your account.
- Manage all your social media posts in one place: share your update once it’s live.
- How to set up and use the mobile app: keep up with the messages your website brings in, from your phone.
